Plagiarism Screening Policy
Manuscripts submitted to this journal will undergo a thorough plagiarism check using CrossCheck/iThenticate plagiarism detection tools. We have a strict policy against any form of plagiarism or self-plagiarism, and such papers will be promptly rejected. Prior to sending articles to reviewers, a member of the editorial team will examine each submission for similarity or plagiarism. For papers submitted to us, the acceptable similarity level is less than 10% (excluding bibliography) with no more than a 3% similarity score to any individual source.
Plagiarism is the act of using someone else's ideas or words without proper permission, credit, or acknowledgment, or failing to cite the sources appropriately. Plagiarism can manifest in various forms, from directly copying another person's work verbatim to rephrasing it without giving due credit. To accurately identify instances of plagiarism, we will focus on the following potential scenarios:
Exact Copying: This involves replicating another author's work, either in whole or in part, word for word, without obtaining permission, acknowledging, or citing the original source. This practice can be identified by comparing the original source with the suspected manuscript or work.
Substantial Copying: Substantial copying entails reproducing a significant portion of another author's work without permission, acknowledgment, or proper citation. The term "substantial" refers to both the quantity and quality of the copied content, considering its relative value in the context of the entire work.
Paraphrasing: Paraphrasing involves taking ideas, words, or phrases from a source and rephrasing them into new sentences within the writing. When an author fails to cite or acknowledge the original source properly, this practice becomes unethical and challenging to detect.
We are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Authors are expected to ensure that their submissions are free from any form of plagiarism and adhere to proper citation practices.
